About the Steel Division

The Iron & Steel segment (Iron & Steel and Specialty Steel Operations) is the mainstay of The Okaya Group operations and accounts for approximately 40% of consolidated net sales.
Our Iron & Steel operations handle a wide range of materials not only through stable supplies from major Thai Iron & Steel manufacturers, but also through our global network.
As a trading company, we not only contribute to the procurement of steel materials for our customers, but also utilize the processing networks of our group companies in Thailand and overseas to become the most appropriate procurement partner to meet the various requests of our customers.

As the Thai base of a Japanese trading company, we handle not only Japanese products but also a wide range of Made In Thailand steel products under the slogan of local production for local consumption. We propose the most appropriate procurement sources that meet our customers’ requests. We can also propose steel sources from around the world while paying close attention to trade trends and other factors that change rapidly on a daily basis.

In addition to the procurement of steel materials, we will deliver an integrated ONE STOP SERVICE from material procurement to processing through synergies with Siam Steel Service Center (commonly known as SSSC), which handles steel material processing in Thailand.

Although Iron & Steel products are mainly used in automobiles, home appliances, and building materials / construction applications, we will explore the possibility of Iron & Steel products that are not bound by existing Iron & Steel transactions, such as niche decorative steel sheets, blast furnaces, electric furnaces, and products that respond to growing environmental awareness.
