Manufacture of Fitting Valves and Fine Flow Products
On 1 August 2024, Kuwana Metals, Ltd., a manufacturer of fitting valves and fine flow products, joined our group of companies.
The origins of Kuwana Metals date back to 1910 when it was established as The Tobata Foundry Company. The company later changed its name to Hitachi Metals Industries, Ltd., and then to Proterial, Ltd., before the piping equipment division spun off to form Kuwana Metals.
Today, the company also manufactures precision fluid control equipment (Fine Flow Products) for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
With our long-established technical expertise and development capabilities in fittings and valves, as well as our robust quality control and support systems, our group will continue to meet societal needs such as efficient energy utilisation and the creation of a safe and secure society through our comprehensive capabilities.
Developing a reliable supply system for piping products and gas sector needs
We supply piping-related products such as heat exchangers and flexible tubes, which are used by major home appliance manufacturers, to home appliance manufacturers in Thailand in collaboration with domestic and overseas manufacturers. Establishing a stable supply system for the gas industry and proposing new added value
In Japan, our piping construction division mainly handles gas-related materials and sells tens of thousands of items from stock to gas companies and propane gas companies.
With the liberalisation of urban gas, gas pipeline construction is expected to become more active, and we are continuing to build a stable supply system.
In addition, in response to the current trends toward ITisation and decarbonisation, we are providing new added value to our traditional supply system by proposing cutting-edge IT products and decarbonisation-related products through our domestic and international networks, and are committed to further contributing to the gas industry.
