Okaya (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is trading company that is group of Okaya&Co.,Ltd., which was founded in 1669, and is engaged in a wide range of business activities in fields such as steel, special steel, non-ferrous metals, electronics, chemicals, mechatronics, food, and piping.

Okaya & Co., Ltd. has a long history of expanding into Thailand, having first set foot in the country in 1967, and in 1974 established Siam Suriya Co., Ltd., the first locally incorporated company in Southeast Asia, through a joint venture with a local company.

After that, we established several manufacturing and sales companies as the Okaya Group, and then in 2007 we established Okaya (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to oversee the Okaya Group and expand sales in Thailand.

We will continue to actively expand our business activities not only in Thailand but also in Southeast Asia, which is experiencing remarkable economic growth.

Certifications

Okaya (Thailand) Co., Ltd. obtained the “IS014001” certification, an international standard for environmental management systems, in 2008. With the goal of contributing to the conservation of the global environment and economic development, we will continue to conduct our business activities in an “environmentally friendly” manner. In order to meet the diverse needs of our customers, we were certified as an International Trade Center (ITC) in 2008 and as a Trade and Investment Support Office (TISO) by the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) in 2013. Siam Suriya Co., Ltd. obtained the international standard “ISO9001” for quality management systems in 2012. We will continue to improve our “service quality” and “business quality” through the operation of our quality management system.
